We're Looking for One Great Line — and Paying $3,000 for It

Open Contest · 2026

We're looking for
one great line.

Our products ship to engineers and procurement teams around the world. The hardware has always done the talking. Now we want our brand to say something in plain English — and we're opening that up to anyone who thinks they've got the line.

A bit of context

We're a TFT LCD module manufacturer based in Shenzhen. We make small and medium-sized display modules — 1 to 10.1 inches — along with capacitive touch panels, and we've been doing it long enough to know what our customers actually care about: a module that performs reliably, a supplier that doesn't disappear after the PO is signed, and documentation that doesn't require a decoder ring.

Our products show up in industrial handhelds, medical devices, smart home panels, automotive dashboards. We're proud of the engineering that goes into them. What we've been slower to articulate is who we are as a brand — especially in English, to an international audience.

A slogan doesn't replace a datasheet. But it's often the first thing a new customer reads about you.

So we're putting out an open call. If you can say what we do — and what we stand for — in a line that sticks, we want to hear it.

What we're after

We're not looking for something clever for its own sake. The slogan needs to work for engineers who are evaluating a display module and for sourcing managers who are comparing three suppliers. It should read equally well in Ohio and in Singapore.

That means: simple over showy, confident over breathless, specific enough to mean something without locking us into a single product line. If you find yourself reaching for words like "revolutionary" or "world-class," that's probably a sign to start over.

The best entries we've seen in past campaigns tend to be shorter than the writer expected. Eight words is usually plenty.
